No app to download. No account to make. The bot lives in the chat and does the bookkeeping nobody wants to do.
Propose
Type a bet the way you already talk. “$20 says France wins Sunday.” The bot reads it and writes a clean ticket: who, what, how much, when it resolves. When two people start arguing, it can offer to make the bet official before anyone backs down.
Confirm
Both sides tap to confirm on the ticket. That tap is the agreement. Nothing locks until both of you do it. Open challenges work too: post one to the group and the first person to take the other side becomes your opponent.
Settle
Bets on real events settle off the actual result. Custom bets like “Dave won't run the marathon” get settled by the group organizer or by both of you agreeing. When you disagree, a dispute window opens before anything goes final.
Brag
The leaderboard updates and the winner gets a brag card built to forward. The receipt, including whatever you said before the game, stays on file for good.
Contests
Run a whole tournament, not just one-offs.
Start a bracket pool, a weekly pick'em, or a survivor pool. Pick game by game or fill a full bracket. The bot scores it and the same leaderboard tracks everything. Fire a side bet on any single game straight from the contest.
The money part
Said plainly.
Most of brag.bot is free and never touches money. It runs on bragging rights and IOUs your group settles itself. For real money on real events, your first bet includes a one-time setup, about three minutes, on an independent regulated market. That market holds the funds and verifies your identity. We never do. After that, betting takes one tap.
What the bot sees
The bot reads the group chat so it can spot a bet and keep the receipts. It keeps what it needs, the bets, the standings, the quotes worth remembering. You can see, edit, and delete what it holds. It does not archive your conversation.
